Liverpool extends Expedia deal

Expedia has extended its sponsorship of Liverpool Football Club for a further 4 years.

The travel brand will remain a Principal Club Partner as well as its official shirt sleeve sponsor for both its men’s and women’s teams.

“We’re thrilled to announce the extension of our partnership with Expedia for another four years,” stated Ben Latty, Commercial Director at Liverpool FC.

“Travel is an incredibly important part of our fans’ match-day experience, so we are proud to have a world-leader in travel as part of the LFC family. We look forward to continuing to work with Expedia, creating more moving content and enhancing our fans’ overall matchday experience.”

The two organisations have partnered on a number of campaigns, including “Nothing Beats Being There”, which is a series of content from players and fans describing their journeys to iconic Liverpool matches.

“We’re proud of the progress we’ve made together and are looking forward to pushing the boundaries further by enriching the fan experience through travel over the next four years and proving that nothing beats being there.”

Since they first signed the deal, Expedia has integrated dedicated travel pages for Liverpool fans. It’s also provided free supporter transport for Liverpool FC Women’s away matches.
