Leeds creative agency Tall has acquired Huddersfield’s 79 as it looks to expand its offering.

The acquisition is intended to strengthen Tall’s offering across a range of technical services such as .net development, email marketing, CRM and data management.

Behrooz Saeed (above, left), who has now joined Tall, set up 79 in 2004 with the aim of providing a design service with a deep understanding of technology. Clients included Bathstore, Chiltern Railways and Stagecoach.

Tall creative director Guy Utley (above, right) said: “Leeds is on the rise in the creative and digital sectors and we are keen to seize the opportunity. Our vision has always placed creative thinking at the heart of everything we do for our clients, in order to make the user experience the best it can be.

“Creative thinking means technical solutions too, and with the specialist technological expertise that comes with 79, we are in a really strong position to deliver a complete user experience in-house.

“We know, from having worked together on recent projects, that we share the same values and work ethic and we’re over the moon that we now have such a breadth of capabilities and talent under one roof.”

The first brand formally to benefit from the expanded agency is SkyBet, which has commissioned Tall to support them in improving their acquisition advertising across online platforms.
