Law firm sets up dedicated OnlyFans service

Blackmont Legal has launched a dedicated service for creators and agencies working on the OnlyFans platform.

The Manchester firm explained that it was receiving increased requests from adult content creators on the site, as they sought legal protection.

“Creators are running full-scale operations,” said Zohaib Hashim, founder and CEO of Blackmont Legal.

“They generate significant income, but most have never had access to proper legal or financial advice. That lack of support leaves them vulnerable.”

Some of the top creators can generate £20k+ per month in earnings, but Hashim said he was concerned that it left some creators vulnerable to agencies using improper contracts, low pay and poor working conditions.

“OnlyFans creators encounter many of the same legal and financial challenges as traditional social media influencers,” he continued.

“The main difference lies in the nature of their content, and the fact that OnlyFans creators often experience a meteoric rise to financial success.”

The firm has already set up similar services for social media influencers using TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.

“I see it every week,” he added.

“A creator might be earning well but has no idea how to manage VAT or protect their earnings through a proper contract.

“We help them understand the business side of their work so they can make informed choices and avoid unnecessary risk.”
