LADbible Group’s Marketing and Communications Director has left the company for Connect Management.

Maya Orr will be Managing Director of the influencer agency, which looks after talent ranging from Sam Ryder to Brandon Baum.

It has just launched a new sports offshoot – Connect Sports Management, with new signees including England and Barcelona footballer, Lucy Bronze.

“Maya is simply one of the best in the business. With over a decade’s worth of award-winning experience, Maya will be bringing to Connect her wealth of knowledge and experience that is vital towards our continued growth,” said the London agency in a statement.

“She’s a great talent and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the family.”

Orr joined LADbible Group from Lidl in 2020, where she was Senior Marketing and Advertising Manager.

“After two and a bit years, a pandemic, numerous award winning campaigns, a London Stock Exchange float amongst so many other things, I have left LADbible Group to start a brand new challenge at Connect Management,” she said on Linkedin.

“LADbible Group was an incredible adventure. It was amazing to work alongside some of the best in the business and learn so much about what makes online content fly with the next generation.

“I am so excited to apply everything that I’ve learnt in my new role at Connect where I’ll be working alongside Benjamin Leslie as Managing Director.

“Connect is a leading social-first creator agency and has built best-in-class experiences for our clients and we’re now leading a new generation of industry disruptors. We specialise in influencer marketing and I have seen first-hand how important influencers are for brands who want to captivate and engage young audiences.

“I cannot wait to get stuck in and help grow Connect to the next level.”
