Jonathan Rigby, the former head of marketing at Manchester United and strategy partner at Love, has joined BBC Children in Need.
He’s been named as the organisation’s director of marketing and fundraising and will take over from Sarah Monteith, who’s held the role since 2011.
In his five years at Old Trafford, Rigby has been involved in the club’s biggest sponsorship deal to date, as well as developing marketing across its social media around the world.
In 2014, the BBC announced that CIN would move 50 staff to MediaCityUK this year, although it does maintain a presence in central London and other regions.
This story will be updated when we have an official comment from BBC Children in Need.
