Michael Carter, aka Return of the Jedi’s Bib Fortuna, and Bryony Corrigan (The Play That Goes Wrong, Good Omens, I Daniel Blake) are to star in Terabithia Pictures’ upcoming Remedy The Dead, the latest short from North East based production company Terabithia Pictures.
For those without an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Star Wars universe, Bib Fortuna was Jabba the Hutt’s snake-necked attendant who made his first appearance in 1983’s third instalment of the space opera, and has since also popped up in 1999’s The Phantom Menace and the Disney+ spin-off The Book of Bobba Fett.
Those with an eye for detail may also recall Carter from his turn as Gerald “victim of your carnivorous lunar activities” Bringsley in cult horror An American Werewolf in London, while his co-star Corrigan appeared as the daughter of incinerated witch Agnes Nutter, Virtue Device, in two episodes of Amazon’s Neil Gaiman adaptation Good Omens, as well as long-running stage roles as Katie in I, Daniel Blake and the Goes Wrong franchise.
Set in Scotland in 1983, Remedy The Dead follows Ellie (Corrigan) a clairvoyant woman mourning the death of her father, Connor (Carter.) When Ellie returns to her childhood home in an attempt to grapple with her grief, she is met with a bit more than what she was expecting.

Writer/Director Gabriel Brown said: “I am ecstatic to be working with Bryony and Michael, the pair are fantastic performers and it’s a testament to our Terabithia shoots and crews that actors of this calibre come on board our productions.”
Mariella Klein, the film’s producer, added: “It’s great to be back working on this potent female-led drama, with two great actors. I’m so excited to get on set with everyone, and bring this story to life.”
Terabithia Pictures champions original ideas alongside a push for the independent film industry as a whole. The company already has two features and a combination of over thirty shorts and music videos under its belt, and is currently in post production on its latest short, Different Shores, starring BAFTA-nominated Charlotte McBurney.
Remedy The Dead is set to shoot in Peebles, Scotland in February 2026. You can find out more and support the project via its crowdfunder.
