ITV to commission full series of rebooted Christmas hit Bullseye

ITV will commission a full series of classic gameshow Bullseye after its Christmas special reboot pulled in nearly 7m viewers, becoming on of the most watched shows on ITV over the festive period.

Hosted by Freddie Flintoff in its rebooted format and shot at Manchester’s Versa Studios, Bullseye is one of the UK’s most successful and best loved family game shows. Each playing team is made up of an amateur dart player, known as the ‘thrower’, and their quizzing team partner, the ’knower’.

According to “insiders” quoted by The Sun, the producers also hope to make newly crowned teenage world darts champion Luke Littler a fixture on the show following a successful guest appearance in the Christmas episode.

Elsewhere, Disney+ and Freddie Flintoff have teamed up for an untitled Original documentary film (1×90’) with exclusive access to the former international cricketer and broadcast presenter, produced by South Shore.

The Disney+ Original documentary film will look back at Flintoff’s life and cricketing career, that saw him win two Ashes series with England and become a national sporting hero, whilst charting his life today and return to cricket following his life-altering car crash in 2022.

The Bullseye Christmas Special is available to stream now on ITVX and ITV’s YouTube channel.
