IT support firm CCS200 buys Yorkshire rival

CCS 2000

Yorkshire-based IT support services firm CCS 2000 has acquired Leeds counterpart Interface (DCB) Technology (IDT).

CCS 2000, based in Melmerby near Ripon, believes the acquisition will extend its presence and strength in full-service IT support for small and medium-sized businesses.

Owner and group managing director Guy Phoenix said: “We’re delighted to have completed this acquisition. It underlines the strength of the Group’s recovery after Hurricane Irma destroyed our sister company (Fresh Mango) in the British Virgin Islands in 2017.

“They have fully recovered and this has allowed us to continue with our growth plans. IDT is a superb strategic fit for CCS – they are similarly sized and provide the same core services: full-service IT support for small and medium-sized businesses across the region.

“Jointly, the businesses provide us with a wider geographical coverage, as well as a larger technical support team. This further enhances the service we provide to our customers.”
