Maritime PR specialist, Polaris Media, has won 3 international accounts, including its first in Portugal.
The North West agency will be handling the PR for port and logistics park, Blue Atlantic in Setubal, near Lisbon.
It has also won clients from Polish maritime engineering firms, Baltec Marine and Intermarine.
Closer to home, it will also be supporting local charity, Liverpool Seafarers Centre.
“Polaris has worked hard in recent years to diversify and grow into new markets overseas,” said Polaris managing director Ben Pinnington.
“We saw a gap in the market to help foreign companies tackle the difficulty of writing in English. The language of the international maritime industry is English but writing in English can be a pain if it is not your native language. We help companies solve that problem by editing their press releases and marketing materials to a professional journalistic standard of English.”
Pennington also said that the agency had opened a new office in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
