International Airlines Group appoints Sales Geek

Lancashire-based Sales Geek has won its biggest sales training contract to date, with IAG Cargo.

The €1.6bn cargo division of IAG (International Airlines Group) has hubs in London, Spain and Ireland, providing freight transportation around the world.

Sales Geek in Blackburn, will be provided a mixture of live sessions and on-demand content through its Sales Geek Academy to the company’s global workforce.

“We are so excited to be partnering with Sales Geek at a time when IAG Cargo is creating an environment where everyone’s contribution is recognised, and curiosity is rewarded,” stated Caroline Andrews, Chief People Officer at IAG Cargo.

“We want our people to thrive and we’re committed to offering our colleagues development opportunities to upskill to ensure they have the skills needed to be fit for future.”

Sales Geek was formed in 2017 by husband and wife, Richard and Lucy Few.

“We’re immensely pleased and excited to have won this contract with IAG Cargo and are looking forward to further developing the skills of their teams around the world through 140 live sessions and online learning,” explained Richard Few.

“Delivering training to over 130 staff split across two seniority levels, the sessions are very much a two-way interactive process blending group training and 1-2-1 mentoring, which has been a hugely fun and challenging process when working with trainees in different time zones literally across the globe.

“As well as to our fantastic team, being able to deliver such a major programme on a multinational basis is also testimony to the greater connectivity now being achieved across the world with the world-wide adoption of digital video communication, and we’re looking forward to delivering more training of this type in the future.”
