Intermarketing Agency has opened 3 offices in the space of 3 months, with new operations in London, Amsterdam and Sydney.

It comes as part of a wider expansion for the Leeds-based company, which saw it acquire Teabag Digital in January this year.

London and Amsterdam will be used to support clients in the UK and mainland Europe and “open up new opportunities.” Whereas in Sydney it believes it has “identified a gap in the agency landscape.”

“The time has never been better to launch into the Australian market, as the company experiences an ever-increasing interest from the Oceania region. The Australian market is an exciting place to be right now as many businesses are looking for an all-encompassing service and fresh ideas,” explained group managing partner, Steve Sowden.

“Like many major cities Sydney and Melbourne are saturated with large, network-owned creative agencies, meaning clients struggle to find an agency that can support them day-to-day in delivering campaigns. This is a great chance for us to share our experience and know-how in the European retail sector to add value to Australian retailers.”

Fellow group managing partner, Jamie Allan, will spend the next 6 months in Australia developing the Sydney operation.

Founded in Leeds in 1988, the creative agency has a £12m+ turnover.
