Leeds-based digital agency and martech firm Modo25 has opened a new CRO division with the appointment of a new head of department, alongside hires across data science and performance marketing.
It has hired Luke McDermott as Head of CRO to oversee the new venture. McDermott was previously Senior Technical Account Manager at WMG and also spent time at Contentology.
Also joining is Lucy Topping as Senior Performance Marketing Manager within affiliate marketing, with experience at Missguided and iProspect; along with Emily Southwell as Partner Manager, having worked for three years at Bidnamic.
The final hire is Rosie Beeston, who brings experience at Esoterix Systems to join Modo25’s data science team, which powers martech platform BOSCO.
In 2021, the agency made a commitment to creating 40 new digital jobs, launching a recruitment team – for themselves as well as retained clients – which has successfully made 24 hires so far.
Sara Smith, Talent Acquisition Manager at Modo25, said: “We have ‘always on’ approach to hiring thanks to continuous client wins and growth. We’re now growing a new team with CRO services and have plans to expand existing teams including SEO and Paid Media.
“We set out to create an outstanding talent proposition and culture that would attract great people which is working really well for us. We have big plans to build on this in 2022 with more exciting openings coming through all the time.”
