For Hull-based regeneration specialists Wykeland Group, Social Communications is providing stakeholder engagement and planning consultation services for the £16m ‘Treadmills’ proposal to develop the former prison site in Northallerton.

Social has also been tasked by Huddersfield-based SKA Developments with creating a new brand, identity and website, as well as ongoing planning consultation, public relations and wider marketing services.

Pete Wrathmell, group director at Social Communications, said: “These appointments are testament to the work our Leeds team has put in over the last 18 months, in building a market leading property and professional services communications business. We’re proud to be contributing to the Yorkshire economy and look forward to continuing our growth in the region.”

Social Communications has over 40 full time staff across its offices in Leeds, Manchester, London and Bristol.

The agency opened its Leeds office in November 2016 and the team works with clients including Bradford Council, Mace, Extra MSA Group and LeedsBID.
