Your Harrogate has appointed Sarah Berry as its new Managing Director.
Berry is the former MD of the town’s Stray FM and CEO of Harrogate Town AFC.
Her arrival means that current Managing Director, Adam Daniel moves into the new role of CEO, with a focus on commercial growth and expansion of the group.
“I’m delighted to welcome Sarah to the Your Harrogate team, having previously had the pleasure of working alongside her at Stray FM,” he said.
“Sarah is hugely respected across Harrogate district and has an excellent understanding of the local community, its businesses and the media landscape.
“Her experience, leadership and passion for the area make her the ideal person to lead Your Harrogate into its next chapter. I look forward to working closely with her again as we continue to grow the Your Harrogate brand.”

Berry will oversee the day-to-day management of the radio station.

Born in Harrogate, Berry began her career in advertising sales at the Yorkshire Post, before joining Stray FM in 1994 and then going on to take up senior commercial roles at other stations, before returning as MD in 1999.
She’s been CEO of Harrogate Town since 2021.
