Bamford joins the station’s noteworthy heritage radio presenter line up which also includes Steve Penk, Darren Proctor, Sam Walker, Spence Macdonald, Chelsea Norris and many more well known radio personalities from the region, playing the songs that make you smile from 70s music right up to current hits.

The station, which broadcasts on DAB Radio across the North West, has also celebrated unveiled a brand new station sound to celebrate two years on air, including a bespoke jingle package created by the acclaimed TM Productions in Nashville.

“In the past two years since we’ve launched the response to the station has just been incredible and proves that there has and always will be a want for great radio in the North West. We’re really excited for Faye Bamford to join our incredible presenter line up and join the Happy Radio family,” said co-owners Darren Proctor, a former Key 103 Presenter, and Hale Barns Carnival organiser Max Eden.

As well as DAB radio coverage across the North West, Happy Radio UK is also available on Freeview TV (Channel 277), available to stream online, on your Smart Speaker and on the Happy Radio UK App on both iOS and Android.
