Grayling has moved to new premises at Leeds Dock as it continues its rapid growth across the North of England.
With 26 per cent growth YoY, the North-based team has continuously expanded its offering with dedicated brand communications, corporate affairs, stakeholder & community engagement and creative & digital specialists, providing clients with integrated communications.
Grayling’s relocation to flexible workspace provider Department’s recently launched Leeds Dock site will enable the team to grow and experience the best of flexible, hybrid working in a workspace that boasts all the comforts of home, coupled with ample facilities including meeting spaces, breakout areas, gym, bar, café and specialist content studios.
The team marked the office opening with the launch of a new dedicated public affairs networking group, The North Bubble, which aims to bring professionals in politics across the region together to improve connectivity, collaboration and share insights. The North Bubble, which first launched in Manchester earlier this year, attracted more than 50 professionals to the inaugural event featuring a guest speech from Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin.
Katie Eborall, Grayling director and head of North, said: “Leeds Dock is a hotbed for the creative and communications industry in the city and across the North, so it’s the ultimate new Leeds base for our expanding team and for strengthening our connections across the city that have been fostered since our inception more than 37 years ago.
“COVID has changed the PR Industry forever and this move is a strategic one that will help us to ensure we are always one step ahead on flexible working and providing our team with a base that is both dynamic and supportive, allowing us to prioritise wellbeing and cementing our culture as a high performing team.”
Anthony Powell, managing director of Department, added: “Having first welcomed Grayling to our Manchester location at Department Bonded Warehouse earlier this year, we’re delighted to now have their Leeds team also join our community of media and marketing businesses at Department Leeds Dock.
“Despite being a global agency, it’s great to see Grayling recognise the importance of being connected to the local places and people that its regional teams operate in. Its team will be able to immerse itself alongside the city’s most exciting businesses, and connect with them across work, social and wellness settings, truly giving it a competitive advantage.”
Supported by Grayling’s London HQ and six other regional offices, including Manchester, the 15-strong Leeds team has the agility of a local and compact agency but the backdrop and talent of a larger agency and works with clients including The Co-op, HSBC, British Glass, First Bus, Leeds Bradford Airport and YO!
