Former THG marketer to head up UK content at Readly

Chloe Rushmere has been named as the new Head of Content UK at Readly.

She returns to the digital magazine and newspaper platform to strengthen its partnerships with publishers and bring more titles to its global subscriber base. 

Rushmere has spent more than a decade working in the media industry, starting out in Manchester at Relative Insight, before becoming Digital Marketing Manager, UK at The Hut Group.

A move to London saw her take up senior partnerships roles at O2 Priority, The Telegraph and then Readly, firstly as Senior Manager of its UK Partnerships in London, before taking on a global role in Sydney, Australia.

She returns to Readly after a year as Head of B2B Partnerships at The Times and Sunday Times, where she led key initiatives including new content and subscription strategies. 

“I am delighted to take on the role as Head of Content UK and continue working closely with the best publishers in the business,” explained Rushmere.

Together, we will build on Readly’s objective to inspire discovery, champion quality journalism and ensure our subscribers can enjoy even more of the content they love.”

She starts the role with immediate effect.

Readly is a digital service offering subscribers unlimited access to 8,000 national and international titles via its app. 

In 2024, revenues amounted to SEK 725m (£57m).
