HUB has appointed David Slater as the agency’s new growth director. Slater joins from McCann, where he held the role of group growth director, responsible for growth across McCann’s UK offices from his McCann Manchester base. He has previously also held senior growth positions at Havas and Search Laboratory.
The new hire will spearhead new client acquisition across the agency, promoting HUB’s full-service proposition of ‘everything brilliant brands need, all in one place.’

This appointment follows a sustained period of growth for the agency, including a 27% headcount increase in 2025, the recent appointment of Christian Shone as Creative Director, a string of new client wins including Mattel, Jorvik Tricycles and Bababing, and awards for Full-Service Agency of the Year and Best Ecommerce/Retail Campaign at the 2025 Prolific North Marketing Awards.
