Former Manchester Evening News business editor joins


Former Manchester Evening News business editor Shelina Begum has joined as North West editor.

Begum, who has featured in the Northern Power Women’s Power 50 list, has held roles across several Reach titles including The Asian News, Rochdale Observer and Oldham Advertiser. She joined the M.E.N’s features team in 2009, moved onto the business desk a year later and became business editor of the M.E.N and its business title, Greater Manchester Business Week.
