Former ITV This Morning and Good Morning Britain booker joins agency’s filmed entertainment division

Premier, the consultancy for entertainment, arts and culture, has appointed former ITV producer and This Morning and Good Morning Britain talent booker Matthew Clayden to its filmed entertainment division in the newly created role of account director, strategy and business development.

The appointment forms part of Premier’s continued investment in its film & streaming offering, expanding the division’s capabilities across talent, broadcaster partnerships, strategic consultancy and integrated campaign development.

During over a decade at ITV, Clayden led production across some of the UK’s biggest entertainment programming, working with a-list talent including Taylor Swift, Adele, Idris Elba, Emma Watson and Samuel L. Jackson, while building trusted relationships with leading studios, streamers and talent representatives.

In the new role, he will work alongside Annie McMonagle, senior director of filmed entertainment, and Gem Anderson, director of talent & influence, in a senior leadership team that brings together strategic communications, talent partnerships and broadcaster expertise under one integrated offering. His remit will span strategic consultancy, special projects, new business, broadcaster insight, talent integration and internal capability development across the division.
