Former agency colleagues launch business productivity consultancy

4and20million-team1

Three former agency colleagues have launched a new Manchester-based company that aims to improve business productivity through staff motivation and engagement.

By challenging outdated working practices, 4and20million will work with ambitious companies who want to attract and retain the best talent, create a positive and motivating working environment and boost productivity and performance.

It’s been set up by Josie Saville, Dan McNicholas and Alex Heywood, formerly the managing partner, data planning director and marketing and business development director respectively at Manchester media agency Wavemaker.

The three co-founders said: “This isn’t about perks and yoga – it’s about increasing business productivity. We do this by changing the way people feel about work. We are on a mission to help shape businesses where employees turn up feeling inspired and motivated and leave at the end of the day feeling proud of the contribution they’ve made.

“Most companies will agree that their people are their greatest asset. But with current research showing that just 17% of us are engaged at work, and that the average UK employee is productive for less than three hours a day, the stark reality for UK businesses is that engaging their people is more critical than ever.”

4and20million is already working with financial services company evestor.

Its CEO, Anthony Morrow, said: “We are excited to embark on this journey with 4and20million as they help ensure that evestor becomes a leader not just in the field of accessible financial advice, but also in establishing a reputation as the most forward-thinking, inspiring workplace in the sector.”

Mick Style, CEO of Wavemaker, said he wished the new venture well and said the trio had helped to establish “innovative working practices across the business”.
