STV Studios label, Flicker Productions, has made a documentary about one of this summer’s most viral phenomenons.
Newcastle construction worker, Jack Kay found fame through an 8-second TikTok video, viewed over 20million times. The documentary deeps digger into the Ibiza Final Boss’ story, including a trip with Kay to his local barber – which is now behind one of the most famous haircuts on the planet.
In The Ibiza Final Boss – Haircuts & Hangovers: UNTOLD, cameras will also film his agent, Dave Reed, a talent scout known for his work with the cast of The Only Way Is Essex. They also return with him to Ibiza to reunite with the man who captured the original video which made him viral.
Producers said that the film explores whether or not overnight viral fame is really all it’s cracked up to be.
It was commissioned by Janine Thomas, Commissioning Editor for UNTOLD, at Channel 4.
It’s produced by Flicker Productions, with Colleen Flynn and Kate South serving as Executive Producers. The Director is Ellie Merz.
