Firecrest reveals how to get more holiday for your money

Firecrest Films is making a new peak-time consumer series for Channel 4.

Bargain Holiday Secrets will examine the tips and tricks to spot holiday deals.

Hosted by Jasmine Harman, the 5-parter will hear from “insiders” at some of the world’s biggest travel companies, who’ll explained how they use pricing strategies and marketing tricks to shape holiday choices.

It also uncovers the truth behind all-you-can-eat buffets, cruise drinks packages, airline dynamic pricing and the “FOMO marketing tactics designed to push us into booking in haste.” 

“We’re delighted to extend our consumer journalism into the holiday industry and get insiders to spill the beans on how to book a dream holiday for less,” said Executive Producer at Firecrest Films, Nicole Kleeman.

The show was ordered by Channel 4’s Glasgow-based Commissioning Editor, Lifestyle Deborah Dunnett:

Tim Dowse is the series producer, with Clare Fraser as Prodcution Manager and Nicole Kleeman as Exec Producer. 

The commissioned was made before Firecrest Films was acquired by Channel 4’s Creative Investment Fund.
