FinTech North has announced the postponement of its planned Ethical FinTech Forum, which was due to take place at RSM’s Manchester offices this Thursday, September 15.

Announcing the decision on its Twitter feed, the organisation said: “In light of the death of Her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth II, we, alongside partners RSM and Squire Patton Boggs, have made the decision to postpone the Ethical FinTech Forum this week. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

The event had planned to “explore all aspects of Green and Ethical FinTech,” and was organised in response to the success of last year’s Green and Ethical Finance and FinTech webinar, which attracted over 300 registrations and over 160 live attendees.

FinTech North, which was co-founded in 2016 by Whitecap Consulting and White Label Crowd Funding as an an “open and collaborative platform for sharing ideas, challenges and best practice” has not yet announced a rescheduled date for the event.
