Manchester-based online retailer JD Williams is to hold a review of its advertising account.
Campaign reports that the fashion brand, owned by N Brown Group, has given notice to Y&R London, the WPP-owned creative agency it appointed just 12 months ago.
The agency had been tasked with developing a more mainstream appeal and its first campaign, “A colourful life”, was the first not to feature Lorraine Kelly since 2014.
The campaign featured five female models in a series of “life moments” including the start of a new career, dating and reclaiming the home, once the children have left the nest.
Asked about the decision to give notice to Y&R, a company spokeswoman for N Brown said: “It’s not N Brown’s policy to comment on rumour or speculation. We can however confirm that we are working with Y&R London on the delivery of our Spring and Summer ‘18 advertising campaigns, which we’re excited to launch.”
