Wilmslow-based online fashion retailer Sosandar has reported a “very strong” Autumn, with revenue in September higher on-year.
“It has been an exciting time of growth and development for Sosandar,” chairman Bill Murray said in speech notes for the company’s annual general meeting.
“As we approach the end of the first half of the current financial year, I am delighted to report that the increased investment we’ve made into marketing and product is producing very good results.
“We are pleased with the recent performance of the business, which has been in line with management expectations. We are well-funded for continued growth and these are extremely exciting times for Sosandar.”
Joint CEOs Ali Hall and Julie Lavington, who are former journalists, founded the company in September 2016 as a “one stop fashion shop” for women. This summer the firm raised £7m through a placing of new shares.
Celebrities photographed wearing the company’s clothing include Zoe Ball, Susanna Reid, Melanie Sykes and Amanda Holden.
