Warrington-based integrated digital marketing agency SM92 has revealed it is entering an “exciting new chapter” with a new leadership structure and international expansion plans.
Formerly operating as Social Media 92, the agency has gone through a significant strategic transformation over the last two years, repositioning itself as a full-service integrated marketing agency to better reflect its wider offering across creative, digital and performance marketing services.
The rebrand and structural changes come as the agency continues to grow its client portfolio across healthcare, professional cleaning, private security, franchising and B2B sectors.

As part of the transition, SM92 has also appointed a new board of directors, with founder Josh James Lucy continuing in the role of Chief Executive Officer, Justin Tiernan appointed Chief Operating Officer and Guy Hamer named Chief Creative Officer.
The leadership team is further supported by board advisors Geoff Iveson and Tim Hines, bringing additional strategic and commercial expertise to the business as it scales operations across the UK and US markets.
The appointments mark a significant milestone for the agency as it prepares for its next stage of growth, including an increased focus on international expansion.
As part of the agency’s expansion plans, Chief Executive Josh James Lucy is relocating stateside to spearhead SM92’s US growth strategy, while Justin Tiernan and Guy Hamer will continue to oversee and strengthen UK operations.
Alongside the board appointments, the agency has also invested heavily in its wider senior leadership team, appointing Harry Griffiths as Head of Performance Marketing and Warren Pearson as Sales and Marketing Manager.
As the business continues to scale its integrated marketing, creative and performance capabilities, additional senior hires are expected throughout the second half of 2026.
Josh James Lucy, founder and CEO, said: “The past two years have been transformational for the business. We have evolved into a fully integrated, end-to-end digital marketing agency, and it was essential that both our structure and brand accurately reflect the level of strategic, data-driven work we now deliver for clients.
“We have built a strong leadership team, established long-term partnerships across multiple sectors, and created a business that is well positioned for sustainable growth in both the UK and international markets.
“Our expansion into the US represents a significant opportunity and marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the continued growth of the agency.”
