Everton Football Club has relocated its headquarters from Goodison Park to new state-of-the-art facilities at the Royal Liver Building.

Staff from the club’s finance, people services, marketing and media and communications teams are among the 160 staff who have moved into the refurbished 28,000 sq ft office space on the seventh floor of the Grade I listed landmark.

Goodison Park had acted as the club’s headquarters for 126 years.

The club said the new offices have been designed to create an environment that was “conducive to staff wellbeing while also creating a platform for collaboration and growth”.

As well as open plan offices, there is a reception, boardroom, meeting rooms and café bar looking out towards Bramley Moore Dock, the proposed site for Everton Football Club’s new stadium development.

Everton’s new HQ at the Royal Liver Building

Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale, CEO at Everton, said: “As a Football Club and heritage institution, we contribute a lot to the rich tapestry of the City’s business community. Our relocation to the Royal Liver Building brings us into the heart of our commercial district which will be a big benefit to the Club and our staff.

“As the club has grown, we have had Everton staff based across a number of sites across our Goodison campus. A couple of years ago I made a promise to colleagues that we would be housed under one roof in an environment that matched their ambition and we are absolutely delighted to be delivering on that promise with this world-class facility in one of the City’s most iconic buildings.”

Everton will continue to have staff from the football operations department and the academy based at the club’s training ground, USM Finch Farm.

Everton in the Community staff will continue to be based at and operate from the Goodison campus buildings including The People’s Hub, Everton Free School and Sixth Form College and The Blue Base.
