B2B e-commerce software company Sana Commerce has opened an office in Manchester as part of what it says is its “continued international expansion”.
The new base, at Manchester Science Park, is the Rotterdam-based company’s first in the North. It will be staffed by five employees, two in marketing and three in the sales team.
Sana helps organisations gain improved online sales through its advanced B2B web store solution, and works with the likes of self-adhesive sign manufacturer and distributor Grafityp, Hydrogarden, the UK’s leading provider of hydroponics, and the UK’s largest independent manufacturer and distributor of flue and chimney products and heating appliances, The Docherty Group.
Michiel Schipperus, CEO at Sana Commerce, said: “It’s been an exciting time for Sana in the UK and around the world. The business has seen very strong growth over the last couple of years after expanding into the US, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.
“After seeing the potential within the UK, and the North West in particular, we’re now focusing on growing our footprint here too.
“Manchester is the perfect location for us, and our office at the UK’s leading science and technology park, Manchester Science Park, means that we’re surrounded by like-minded, mid-phase tech companies.”
