Embryo promotes Matthewman to head of brand and marketing

Manchester-based digital marketing agency Embryo has promoted former marketing manager Hannah Matthewman to head of brand and marketing.

Over the last two years, Matthewman has been working at the agency, helping the company grow its previously non-existent marketing department into a core team of three with a wider support team of five.

The promotion comes at an exciting time for the business as their headcount has recently surpassed 53, and the business is set to exceed this year’s financial targets. In the new role, Hannah will be responsible for overseeing Embryo’s marketing activities and elevating Embryo to the next level of digital agencies.

Matthewman said: “When I decided to join Embryo it was on a temporary basis to help rebrand Embryo and give it a fresh new look. A few months into that project in 2020, I was so glad both the company and I wanted to make it a permanent position. Over the last two years I’ve been a part of Embryo’s journey of rapid growth, award wins, and worked with some huge global brands. As the new Head of Brand and Marketing, I’m excited for the future of the business and delighted to be responsible for ensuring Embryo is the best digital brand out there.”
