Ella Toone has launched her new podcast Ella & Friends, the first production under her new production agency, Amicizia Studios.
Lioness and Manchester United star Toone is stepping into the world of media under her own steam, having previously tested the waters as a celebrity coach on the BBC and NHS’s Couch to 5K app and host of ITV’s Euro 2025 promo clips, with the launch of the new show – a relaxed, funny, and unfiltered series that brings fans behind the scenes of football and life with her closest mates.
The show marks the first production from Toone’s Amicizia Studios, a creative venture dedicated to storytelling, connection, and showcasing authentic voices in and around women’s football. Amicizia (the Italian word for “friendship”) reflects the company’s founding spirit, real conversations, genuine relationships, and a whole lot of laughter.
Ella & Friends will be available on YouTube and Spotify every Sunday. It will offer fans weekly episodes filled with honest chats, behind-the-scenes stories, guest appearances, and “the kind of banter only Ella and her friends can deliver.”
Toone said: “I’ve always loved being able to show who I really am off the pitch, and Ella & Friends is all about that. It’s me and my mates, having a laugh, talking life, and everything in between. I’m buzzing for people to see it and launching it through Amicizia Studios makes it even more special.”
Co-founder of Amicizia Studios and Toone’s manager, James Marshall, added: “It’s great to finally get the show launched as our first production. Ella has always wanted to do something with her mates and this was the perfect idea. These girls are so relatable and we are hoping they will entertain a growing audience in the women’s game. Our aim is to offer some lighthearted entertainment for Ella’s fans away from the pitch.”
Episodes will feature teammates, celebrities, and surprise guests, giving audiences a fresh take on the personalities behind the players and a front row seat to Toone’s world beyond football.
Ella & Friends will stream every Sunday for the next 10 weeks, with new episodes dropping every week on YouTube and Spotify.
