eBay UK continues Love Island partnership

eBay UK, the official pre-loved fashion partner of Love Island, is celebrating the new series launch with a multi-channel campaign, encouraging viewers to ‘Couple Up With Pre-Loved.’

The initial partnership, conceptualized by MediaComm and ITV, resulted in eBay UK seeing a 1600 per cent increase of searches in ‘pre-loved clothes’ and 24 per cent more new circular fashion businesses joining the marketplace.

Now, through a fresh strategic position and creative campaign led by DEPT, this partnership is being brought to life and enhanced with support by McCann London and Weber Shandwick.

The new campaign will continue to drive the conversation and be delivered through a 360 multi-channel activation. It will run across TV, VOD, social, digital and the dedicated Love Island app, with eBay branding and clothing showcased across each touchpoint.

Launching today across ITV2 and ITV2+1, the 10-second AV spots see a diverse collective of Love Island influencers and commentators getting dressed up and staying in for the big event – what else but tuning into Love Island?

To allow viewers to shop the Islanders pre-Loved look, including a selection of authenticated sneakers and items from eBay’s imperfect range, FEED has also curated a dedicated Love Island Hub on eBay UK for viewers to shop.

2023’s Winter run of Love Island launched last night and will screen nightly, except Sundays, at 9pm on ITV2.
