Lilidorei

The new Channel 4 show about the Duchess of Northumberland’s recently opened theme park lands on screens tonight (August 23).

The Duchess, Jane Percy, will be the subject of the documentary, which aims to give a “unique insight” into her life and the building of the new, multi-million pound Lilidorei attraction, which features the biggest play structure of its kind in the world.

Lilidorei opened earlier this year, and from tonight at 9pm you’ll be able to learn all about it on More 4. The entire series will also be available to stream on demand following the broadcast.

The Ep1 preview promises: “Jane Percy, the Duchess of Northumberland, builds the fairy-tale village of her dreams on the grounds of Alnwick Castle. She tours the castle and shares her visions of the village Lilidorei which include the world’s largest play structure, nine different clan houses and a hobgoblin prison, but things go wrong when builders discover an ancient culvert on the site of the build and the ramifications ramp up the budget by £13million.”
