Dock10 and Infostrada announce cloud services partnership

MediaCityUK-based media services provider dock10 has announced a joint venture with Infostrada, the global media and technology provider formerly known as Parkpost, to deliver a “revolutionary” set of cloud-based production and distribution services to the UK media industry.

The services, which are available from today and will include remote content editing, media archiving and content ingest, are aimed at UK broadcasters, production companies and post facilities and are intended to minimise capital requirements.

They will be marketed by dock10 and are to include Infostrada’s CentralParq workflow and media asset management platform.

Dock10’s clients include the BBC and ITV, with programmes recorded at its studios including Match of the Day, Dragons’ Den, The Sarah Millican Television Programme and Justin’s House.
