World Productions appoints Manchester agency for Line of Duty

Social Media Makes Sense has been brought in by World Productions to manage social for the new Line of Duty series.

Series 5, began filming in September last year and is expected to air in the Spring.

“We’re very excited to be working on such a prestigious show like Line of Duty.  Our team were big fans of the show already, so this is a really exciting campaign for us!” said Jo Booth, SMMS Director.

The new series will feature Stephen Graham (This Is England) as a guest lead, alongside Rochenda Sandall (Girlfriends, Broken). They will line up with regular stars, Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston.

“We are very happy to pass over the management of the ‘Line of Duty’ social media channels to SMMS.  The show has gained a large online fan base and we hope that the new partnership with SMMS will further strengthen the conversation between the show and the fans,” added Freddie A’Brassard, Production Manager at World Productions.

Line of Duty is written and created by Jed Mercurio and will air on BBC One.
