Journey Further has won a competitive pitch process to deliver Airtasker’s PR and SEO accounts.

Up until now, the briefs had been held by 2 separate agencies, and this consolidates Journey Further’s relationship with the community marketplace even further.

The Leeds agency has worked with the company since it launched in the UK at the start of 2018, originally on driving user acquisition through PPC, programmatic and paid social campaigns.

It received the additional contract after working on a Yorkshire Pudding Taste Tester campaign, which has been shortlisted for a Northern Digital Award.

“Journey Further’s values and outlook completely aligns with ours and the coverage and brand awareness from the initial campaign has been phenomenal,” said Lucas London, general manager at Airtasker.

“We’re all looking forward to continuing working with the team as they develop further award worthy campaigns.”

Journey Further will use a combination of SEO, influencer-based engagement and traditional PR to support Airtasker in its regional rollout across the UK.

“We are very excited to be working with such a dynamic and ambitious company which is looking to push the boundaries and disrupt the casual job market,” added Journey Further’s PR director, Beth Nunnington.

“Airtasker has fully embraced our strategy for them and trusted us to help them build not only its brand nationally but also to continue to support its regional rollouts.”
