Digital City Festival’s full Marketing agenda is now available online

The lineup of talks making up the Marketing agenda at Digital City Festival is now available online, making up a significant part of the content broadcast as part of the event series.

Digital City Festival takes place from April 12th – 23rd on the Digital City Network – registration for which is open now – hosting a programme of keynotes and panels from global thought leaders, a dedicated exhibition showcase, Q&As, masterclasses, seminars, and the Digital City Awards.

It features content across marketing, media, tech, eCommerce and culture, all in broadcast quality on the network. The central content will be produced by Badger & Combes at the leading MediaCItyUK facilities, underpinned by the tech infrastructure of dock10.

Manifest x Tommee Tippee: Demystifying the realities of infant feeding through The Boob Life

April 13th, 11am

Manifest worked with Tommee Tippee on The Boob Life, a unified campaign which put mums front and centre to show the realities of infant feeding journeys. The campaign was faced with praise when it launched in February but also censorship from places like Facebook, which removed the video.

Neil Knowles of Tommee Tippee; Chomoi Picho-Owiny, Emily Huyton, and Isabel Thomson of Manifest; plus marketing consultant Fiona Wylie will be discussing the challenges of tackling such a sensitive and personal subject and why it’s important to use digital content and creativity to break the boundaries of topics like this.

Global agency Manifest will host two important figures in this conversation on addressing bias and prejudice, which threaten the potential of digital to be inclusive and transformational. TikTok’s Head of Partnerships & Community and behavioural and data scientist Dr Pragya Agarwal will talk to Manifest’s Julian Obubo, Head of Diversity and Inclusion and Lee Benecke, Digital Director, on tackling bias.

Moderated by Jamie Klingler, MD of Incite Global, the panelists will discuss ways to address prejudice and make digital a more diverse and inclusive space, better prepared for the world we live in.
