Storm has won a new contract from leading UK demolition contractor, Thomas Crompton.
The Harrogate tech firm will supply its push-to-talk application across the group – including in vehicles and and handheld radios.
The tech allows staff to make private one-to-one calls and also broadcast to larger groups using mobile technology. They can also share text messages, images, videos and files and communicate instantly with one another. There is also an SOS button on each device as well as geo-fencing and location tracking.
Thomas Crompton is based in Bradford and its clients include major housebuilders, local government and construction SMEs.
“We take the wellbeing of our workforce very seriously and believe that the improved communication provided by Storm’s solution, along with the SOS emergency alert solution, will help to improve the health and safety of our people,” said Margaret Crompton, Director at Thomas Crompton.
“We believe that our investment in Storm’s technology will help us boost productivity and improve efficiencies across our business. We are confident that Storm’s push-to-talk is superior to other solutions on the market.”
