Northumberland comic Ross Noble has been commissioned to present three 60-minute entertainment programmes for Dave.
Ross Noble: All Torque will see the comic taking part in the Scottish Six Day Trial, which is considered one of the oldest and most difficult motorbike races in the world.
Grain Media is the producer, with Jon Drever directing. UKTV-owned Dave has already worked with Noble on Ross Noble Freewheeling.
Steve North, Dave general manager, said: “Ross is a talent we all love here at Dave, and it’s hugely exciting to be working with the award-winning team at Grain Media.
“The combination of comedy, motorsport and endurance will be a gripping and entertaining take on such an awesome challenge.”
The commission comes after UKTV partnered with Channel 4 to launch a multi-million pound innovation fund and pledged to increase its investment in original programming.
