At the end of this month, Prolific North will host a dedicated online training session for those hoping to remotely manage their teams effectively throughout the coronavirus crisis.

Unprecedented times mean nearly every workforce is working from home for an extended period of time – quite different to what most will have experienced and difficult for managers. It means they’ll need to develop new approaches, routines and behaviours to support individuals, foster strong, supportive teams, and create great work.

Join us via Zoom on April 30th for a morning session lasting three hours, hosted by the team at 4and20million – Dan McNicholas, Josie Saville and Alex Heywood.

Titled ‘Remote Leadership in times of crisis’, the session runs between 9am and 12pm and covers a wide range of issues.

The session will address specific challenges on leading and managing remote teams and equip leaders with the right tools to motivate and enable their people to do great work, both as a team and individually.

The first half of the session will cover positive practices for individual managers to work effectively from home – including generating motivation, creating meaningful boundaries, and practicing effective communication. The second part will cover productivity for teams – going over what a team needs and how to encourage greater productivity and better results.

The live training utilising Zoom will include the opportunity to interact and discuss points with the presenters, as well as bringing your own experiences to the conversation. Space is limited to a maximum of 20 people at a time to ensure the greatest time and space for effective questions and discussion, and participants will receive follow-up materials after the training.
