Chief takes piano on tour as Jet returns to TV advertising

Fuel brand Jet is returning to television advertising for the first time in more than 20 years.

Created by isobel, with production duties carried out by Manchester’s Chief, it’s described as a “unique take” on a classic road movie.

It features a man at a grand piano “driving” through the English countryside, while playing Steppin’ Out. He then stops off in Barnsley for a quick refuel before setting off again.

“In fine tuning the JET brand our aim is to improve the experience for our customers and to give the drivers who visit our forecourts everything they need and want to continue their journeys quickly and safely.” stated Mary Wolf, Managing Director, UK Marketing, Phillips 66 Limited, which supplies the fuel in the UK.

“It is a simple, straightforward ‘driver-first’ ethos that is perfectly captured in this new campaign.”

The 60” and 30” ads will air this month across the Midlands and North of England. They will be supported nationally through social media.

The advert was directed by Nate Camponi.
