Joel Spence has left his role as Chief Growth Officer at Leeds agency twentysix to take up the same role at Edit.

Spence, who left twentysix yesterday, has previously had spells at Callcredit Information Group, Enjoy Digital and G2G3 Digital.

Owned by Kin + Carta (formerly St Ives), Edit was formed in March 2018 following the merger of Response One, Amaze One and Occam, with Branded3 joining in August last year.

Last year it reported a turnover of £32million, with 213 employees spread across offices in Leeds, Bath and London. Clients include Shell, The Rank Group and Salvation Army.

Announcing his departure from twentysix on LinkedIn, Spence said: “I’ve had an incredible time, starting my MBA at Leeds on a Saturday and joining twentysix as Sales and Marketing Director on the following Monday meant 3 years of long hours, busy weekends and very hard work, but the pay off has been fantastic, with a long list of achievements, working with some great people and with many big wins, challenges, and learnings along the way.”
