Channel 4 has appointed Navi Lamba as E4’s Digital Executive, to oversee teen content.

Based at its national headquarters in Leeds, Lamba will be E4’s key point of contact across all its platforms, including the new Digital Content Unit and All4.

Working closely with E4 controller, Karl Warner, she will oversee the development and delivery of the E4’s content with a focus on digital and also lead the curation of Channel 4’s teen strand.

“Navi is a young, digital first mega talent and I am thrilled she is joining Channel 4. She’ll work side by side with me, bringing her unique voice to E4 and making sure the digital expression of our content reaches as many 16-34s as possible,” explained Warner.

Lamba joins from BBC Three, where she is Head of Social and led a number of innovations across its output, including campaigns for Fleabag, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Killing Eve. Prior to that, she was an assistant short-form commissioner for the channel.

“I can’t wait to get started at E4, I’m really looking forward to working with Karl and the team. E4 shows were a key part of my formative years, in spite of the fact that I grew up in Canada, so being able to join a channel that has had such a big influence on me is a dream come true,” she added.
