Captify appoints Global and Teads veteran as Northern regional lead

Open web search intelligence platform Captify has appointed Laura Sanderson as regional head of sales for the North, based in Manchester.

Sanderson will be responsible for spearheading Captify’s regional commercial strategy and operations, playing a pivotal role in further accelerating growth and success in the North across both brand and agency relationships.

Sanderson joins Captify from Global, The UK and Europe’s largest radio and outdoor company, where she served as group agency manager leading sales across outdoor, audio and DAX (Global’s Digital Ad Exchange).

Sanderson brings an impressive array of experience, having worked with agencies, platforms and across the sell-side. Prior to her role at Global, Sanderson held senior commercial positions at omnichannel programmatic platform, Teads, successfully managing strategic accounts and commercial teams.

Simultaneously, she served as VP at Bloom North, a professional network and community for women in communications roles. Sanderson played a pivotal role in delivering Bloom North’s 2021 programme while actively addressing diversity and inclusion through initiatives, advocacy, awareness, and debate.

The role at Captify will be primarily focused on maintaining and growing Captify’s regional presence, particularly within global media agencies.

Sanderson said, “I’m excited to join such a dynamic and innovative business. Captify is at an exciting stage of growth both regionally and globally, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to lead regional commercial efforts across the impressive list of brands and agencies the business has developed.”

Andre Eaglestone, who leads sales strategy for the UK at Captify, says: “We’re excited for Laura to further the momentum we’ve built over the last few years in Manchester and across the UK. Our regional presence is strategically important to the growth of the business in 2024 and beyond, as we look to build upon the many close agency and client relationships that we’ve established.”
