Eyewitness Works in Sheffield is set to be the base for an upcoming Channel 4 show with working title Design Your Dream, where contestants complete design challenges to win their own apartment.
The programme is produced by Remarkable Factual and made in partnership with Manchester-based Capital & Centric, the focus of BBC documentary Manctopia and developer of Eyewitness Works.
Contestants on the show will take an empty apartment within the development to show off their talent, judged across a series of challenges. The ultimate winner is set to become the owner of a two-bedroom apartment within Eyewitness Works.
It runs for eight 60-minute episodes with filming set to take place this summer and casting in progress.
Deborah Dunnett, Commissioning Editor, Features and Daytime at Channel 4, said: “This series promises to show off the creative talents and tastes of interior designers from around the UK – for a truly spectacular prize. I’m looking forward to working with Remarkable and thrilled that the vibrant city of Sheffield is going to be the home of this innovative competition format.”
