Blakeway North is behind a new CBBC series, where 13-year-old vlogger Nikki Lilly meets high profile celebrities, writers, musicians and politicians.

Today, the teenager will be interviewing the Prime Minister to talk about what life was like as a teenager as well as finding out about her passions and secret talents.

Nikki Lilly has a debilitating rare medical condition, AVM, which causes headaches, nosebleeds and swelling on one side of her face, which requires frequent hospital visits. In the last few years, she’s won CBBC’s Junior Bake-Off, a Pride of Britain Award and won an award for her My Life documentary on the BBC.

Manchester’s Blakeway North has produced 20 short films, where she bakes for her guests and interviews them about their lives. She’s already met with David Walliams, Nicole Scherzinger, Claudia Winkleman and Dev Griffin.

“Nikki is a superb interviewer. With guests ranging from Nicole Scherzinger to David Walliams and the Prime Minister – her charming interviews prove you don’t need to take a hard-hitting approach to get revealing, surprising interviews. They are a charming watch and her interviewees have all loved the encounters – not least because Nikki does a signature bake for them,” said Sarah Murch, executive producer Blakeway North.

The first episode airs later this afternoon on CBBC.
