Fashion “e-tailer” In The Style will be the subject of an upcoming six-part documentary series on BBC One and BBC Three, showing what goes on at its Manchester HQ as well as following the brand abroad.

The documentary will be produced by Optomen, providing a unique look into the day-to-day operations of the fast fashion label. As well as filming in Manchester, the documentary will follow the brand to Cannes and Ibiza.

Each week of the documentary will focus on one week at In The Style. As well as the chance to see operations including new launches, events and business difficulties, it will feature some of In The Style’s influencer partners who include Love Island 2018 winner Dani Dyer, fashion designer Lorna Luxe, and actress Emily Atack.

In The Style, which was founded in 2014 by Adam Frisby, promotes clothes inspired by celebrity partners. Frisby founded the brand in his bedroom in Manchester, and it has since gone on to grow into a multi-million pound platform.

Frisby said: “I agreed to do the show after months of back and forth debating whether it was the best thing to do for the business or not. Ultimately In The Style is something I’m very proud of; it’s like my baby and actually, after deciding to go ahead, the documentary is now something I am very excited about.

“I’m looking forward to the public seeing behind the scenes at our HQ… I also hope that my story of how I started the business and make my decisions is something that will encourage people out there to follow their dreams, and give what they’re passionate about a go!”
