ANS Group merger engineer is new revenue chief at Manchester app specialist

Mobile product consultancy Apadmi has appointed Rachel Wood as its first-ever chief revenue officer (CRO), as the business accelerates its growth ambitions following a recent revenue increase and new client wins.

The newly created role reflects Apadmi’s commitment to building a scalable, high-performance commercial operation as it pursues significant international expansion and headcount growth.

Wood joins after Apadmi recently reported a 20% revenue growth forecast for 2026 and has expanded its global footprint across Manchester, Amsterdam, London, Edinburgh, New York, Wrocław and Sri Lanka.

With over 15 years’ experience in founder-led, VC and PE-backed services businesses, Wood brings a proven track record of scaling commercial functions and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Notably, she spent nine years at ANS Group where she supported exponential growth in preparation for a PE-backed MBO and subsequent merger with UKFast.

Most recently, she served as COO at OBT Live, where she built the company’s operations, product strategy and commercial foundations from the ground up.

In her new role, Wood will unify all revenue-generating activity across the business, improve commercial processes including pipeline management, forecasting and win rate performance, and ensure strong alignment between Apadmi’s sales, delivery and product teams.

Wood said: “Apadmi’s culture is what set it apart for me. It reminded me of my happiest time professionally, where everyone is rowing in the same direction and genuinely cares about the success of the business. Joining at this moment of growth, with a clear vision, an exceptional client base and real momentum behind the business, is an exciting prospect. I’m looking forward to building a revenue engine that matches the ambition of this team.”

Garry Partington, CEO of Apadmi, added: “Rachel brings exactly the kind of experience and energy we need: someone who has scaled businesses through periods of real transformation and knows how to build the foundations for sustainable, long-term growth. We’re thrilled to have her on board.”

The appointment follows a series of strategic hires at Apadmi as the business builds out its senior leadership team in line with its international expansion plans. This has included the recent appointment of Mellissa Flowerdew-Clarke, formerly VP of marketing EMEA at Dept, as the new global chief marketing officer.
