Manchester-based sportswear brand Castore has increased its revenue forecast for 2023 following lucrative new kit deals and the growth of its physical store portfolio.

The business, which includes tennis star Andy Murray and the North West’s billionaire Issa Brothers among its backers, is predicting a 30 per cent rise in turnover to $250m.

The improved forecast is due in part to kit deals with new teams including Feyenoord Rotterdam FC, Athletic Club Bilbao, Football Association of Ireland, FC Twente and FC Utrecht, with more expected to be announced soon. The brand already has deals in place with Premier League stalwarts Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

Castore has also launched new localised e-commerce platforms, and launched new own-brand physical stores in major European cities, including Amsterdam, alongside selling its wares at third party retailers including Fanatics, Very, Fraser Group (Sports Direct/ Flannels), JD, Harrods, John Lewis & Fenwicks.

Tom Beahon, Castore co-founder, said: “Castore’s vision is to become the number one premium sportswear brand in the world. Right now, we’re focusing our efforts on boosting consumer awareness – developing close partnerships with sports teams and performance athletes and, driving organic growth of our mainline brands both digitally and within engaging new in-store environments.”
