Altrincham’s max20 Project Solutions has been the leading supplier of digital services to the NHS over the past three years under the G-Cloud procurement framework, according to government figures.
The data, taken from the G-Cloud dashboard filtered for ‘Health’ within the ‘Wider Public Sector Support’ category on G-Cloud 12 and 13 for the period up to 31 August 2023, shows that max20 delivered projects to the value of £31.3m since 28 September 2020 when the G-Cloud 12 framework was introduced – more than any other digital services supplier.
G-Cloud, the online marketplace where public sector organisations procure IT services, serves around 300 NHS bodies. max20 is an approved supplier and offers 26 different services through the framework. Services are delivered by teams of subject matter experts who are hand-picked for each project and managed by max20 project managers.
During the last three years, max20 teams completed over 1.1m hours of work. Projects included providing IT infrastructure support for the Etihad Mass Vaccination Centre in Manchester; the award-winning CIPHA (Combined Intelligence for Population Health Action) programme to create a shared data platform for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, and the roll-out of electronic patient records across 10 hospitals on behalf of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), which was one of NHS England’s biggest ever data projects.
Established over 20 years ago by Don and Lynne Tomlinson, max20 now has one of the UK’s largest databases of IT healthcare professionals. The company achieved a combined annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16% in the last three financial years to the end of July 2023 and is forecasting growth of 15% in the current financial year.
Having traditionally focused on clients in the North of England, max20 has embarked on a national expansion in recent months and secured five major new contracts in the Midlands, South East and South West.
